About The Position

INX International is seeking a Mill Operator to manufacture high-quality printing ink. The company will train the right candidate to operate a mill machine and perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities. The role involves operating and maintaining a Hockmeyer mill, packaging finished ink, working with production and quality processes, and completing maintenance and troubleshooting tasks. The position is identified as first shift. Candidates must be able to work overtime as required and lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 3 months of related work experience.
Good math and basic computer skills.
Attention to detail.
Reliability in working the assigned shift.
Flexibility to work overtime as required.
Strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
Ability to take an active role on multidisciplinary teams.
Good attendance and punctuality.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience; training can be provided.
Background in the mixing, mill, and pump-filter industry.
Previous experience in the ink industry.

Responsibilities

Run ink batches at proper mill settings.
Package finished products in various containers and apply labels.
Clean and maintain machines to TPM standards.
Learn and apply TPM knowledge in daily activities.
Operate Hockmeyer mills and maintain optimum overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) standards.
Create and maintain a database of existing formulas, including processing times.
Can finished product.
Operate the press-out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift.
Act as a quality-control liaison by providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data.
Complete scheduled maintenance and use troubleshooting procedures.
Assist with repacks.
