About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Mid-Level Automotive Painter to prepare and paint vehicles at a high-tech Inspection Center. The role involves matching and mixing paint colors and applying water-based paint inside paint booths. The position is listed for the 2nd shift, scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

Carvana describes its Reconditioning Centers as places where vehicles are inspected, perfected, and photographed before appearing on its website. Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
