About The Position

Carvana is hiring an experienced Auto Painter to prepare low-mileage, late-model vehicles for customers at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role requires a high level of skill in applying base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats; blending adjacent panels; and paint correcting vehicles. Carvana describes itself as a fast-growing used automotive retailer and operates vehicle Reconditioning Centers where cars are inspected, perfected, and photographed before being listed on its website. The position offers a competitive wage and a $6,000 bonus, along with benefits and reimbursement programs. Employees may be required to work mandatory overtime based on business needs to help meet customer delivery commitments. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship, and hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional automotive painting experience.
Highly skilled in automotive painting, blending adjacent panels, and paint correction.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
