About The Position

Carvana is seeking an experienced paintless dent repair (PDR) technician to work in one of its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The role involves repairing vehicle panels using advanced glue-pulling techniques, hail repair, crease and body-line repair, and repairs to larger dents on steel and aluminum panels. A minimum of five years of professional automotive PDR experience is required. The posting also describes training programs for people joining Carvana in entry-level positions, but this role is presented as an experienced technician position.

Technicians are expected to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may be required to work mandatory overtime based on business needs. The work may involve exposure to hot or cold weather conditions and use of protective safety equipment. Applicants must be at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least five years of professional automotive paintless dent repair experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
