About The Position

Carvana is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Painter with at least three years of professional automotive painting experience. The role involves matching and mixing paint colors and using water-based paint to paint vehicles inside paint booths at a high-tech vehicle inspection and reconditioning center. The listed pay range is $26–$35. The second-shift schedule is 6:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
