About The Position

The Hub Operations Lead is responsible for the day-to-day operations and workflow of Hub functions, including Hub order fulfillment, inventory control, and related processes. Depending on the size and scope of Hub operations, the role may lead Hub Inventory Specialists and Hub drivers. It requires knowledge of store systems and basic parts, strong interpersonal skills, and prior experience leading team members. The role requires in-depth knowledge of store inventory and coordination with nearby stores, Hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers to fulfill orders, while maintaining Hub company standards. This is a full-time position. It may require MVR certification. The employee must complete training materials and attend store meetings. Scheduling may require coming to work on short notice and working flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Prior retail experience, including basic merchandising and inventory management skills.
Experience managing inventory in a retail environment or logistics center of operations.
Prior experience leading other team members.
Knowledge of store systems and basic parts knowledge.
Good interpersonal skills and friendly communication.
Competent oral and written communication skills and ability to perform basic math computations.
Ability to locate and stock parts, with high attention to detail.
Ability to operate inventory systems, store equipment, POS systems, and parts lookup systems, and to execute and train others on inventory systems and equipment.
Ability to drive a forklift if certified and applicable, and to use a hand truck and pallet jack.
Ability to meet and deal with the public in an unbiased manner; well-mannered and neat in appearance.
Previous work records should demonstrate stability and performance results.
Ability to come to work on short notice and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting or moving of up to 100 pounds.
MVR certification may be required.

Responsibilities

Oversee Hub operations and resolve Hub orders and process issues in a timely manner.
Provide direction, organize and delegate work, and ensure execution by Hub-related team members, including Hub/Loop drivers and Hub Inventory Specialists.
Review Hub orders, pull and stage parts, and finalize paperwork.
Coordinate paperwork and instructions with internal and third-party drivers.
Work with the store-to-facility network to determine part sourcing and logistics solutions; coordinate fulfillment options with ordering stores when parts are unavailable in the network.
Work with the General Manager, District Manager, and CSC support to maintain appropriate inventory mix and levels.
Maintain inventory accuracy and perform parts department and Hub inventory functions, including on-hand accuracy, shrink results, cycle counts, outages, planograms, Maxi changes, price changes, fronting and facing, and truck lead tasks.
Manage and comply with Hub records and paperwork policies and procedures.
Urgently communicate order fulfillment or shipment risks and concerns to the appropriate store leaders.
Lead replenishment stocking activities, including scanning in products and ensuring completion within 24 hours.
Perform additional inventory activities, including overstocks, callbacks, and resets.
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
Assist with front-room inventory functions, cores, and defects.
Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and the parking lot.
Assist with Manager on Duty duties and other store-related actions as needed.
Complete training materials and attend store meetings.
Immediately report violations of company policy or procedure to the General Manager and/or District Manager.
