About The Position

The Hub Operations Lead is responsible for the day-to-day operations and workflow of all Hub functions, including store Hub order fulfillment, inventory control, and associated processes. Depending on the size and scope of Hub operations, the Lead may direct Hub Inventory Specialists and Hub drivers. The position requires knowledge of store systems and inventory, basic parts knowledge, interpersonal skills, and prior experience leading team members. The Lead networks with nearby stores, Hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers to fulfill orders and maintains Hub company standards. This is a full-time position that may require MVR certification. The employee must complete all training materials and attend all store meetings. The role also supports inventory and store functions, delivers parts when needed, and may assist with manager-on-duty and other store activities. Scheduling may require short-notice availability and flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Prior retail experience, including basic merchandising and inventory management skills.
Prior experience managing inventory in a retail environment or logistics center of operations.
Prior work records demonstrating stability and performance results.
Competence in oral and written communication and basic math computations.
Ability to communicate in a friendly manner, locate and stock parts, and pay close attention to detail.
Knowledge of safety and ability to execute and train others on inventory systems and store equipment.
Ability to operate inventory systems and store equipment, including a forklift, pallet jack, and/or hand jack; forklift operation is subject to certification and applicability.
Ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems.
Ability to meet and deal with the public in an unbiased manner; should be well mannered and neat in appearance.
Ability to work on short notice and flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, including frequent lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting or moving of up to 100 pounds.
May require MVR certification.

Responsibilities

Oversee Hub operations and resolve Hub orders and processes in a timely manner.
Provide direction, organize and delegate work, and ensure execution by Hub-related team members, including Hub/Loop Drivers and Hub Inventory Specialists.
Review Hub orders, pull parts, stage products, and finalize paperwork.
Coordinate paperwork and instructions with internal and third-party drivers.
Work with stores and the facility network to identify part-sourcing and logistics solutions; coordinate with the ordering store when parts are unavailable in the network.
Work with the GM, DM, and CSC support to maintain appropriate inventory mix and levels.
Maintain inventory accuracy and perform parts-department and Hub inventory functions, including on-hand accuracy, shrink results, cycle counts, outages, planograms, Maxi changes, price changes, fronting and facing, and truck lead activities.
Maintain and comply with Hub recordkeeping and paperwork policies and procedures.
Promptly communicate order-fulfillment or shipment risks and concerns to appropriate store leaders.
Lead stocking activities from replenishment orders, including scanning in products and ensuring completion within 24 hours.
Perform additional inventory activities, including overstocks, callbacks, and resets.
Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
Assist with Front Room Inventory functions, cores, and defects.
Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and the parking lot.
Assist with manager-on-duty and other store-related activities as needed.
Complete all required training materials and attend all store meetings.
Immediately report company policy or procedure violations to the General Manager and/or District Manager.
