Hallmark is hiring a part-time Merchandiser to service Hallmark departments in assigned retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. Working independently, the Merchandiser organizes and restocks products, monitors inventory, maintains displays, and builds professional relationships with store teams. The role uses a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks, communication, time reporting, feedback, and surveys. Merchandisers may also support other products in serviced stores and assist colleagues in nearby territories. The position has a variable schedule during the work week and averages 8–10 hours per week. Workload and hours may increase around holidays, seasonal changeovers, installations, and inventory support. Holiday and remodel work may include evenings, weekends, extended hours, and, on some occasions, the actual holiday. Remodel assignments are typically communicated about two weeks in advance. This is physically demanding work on retail selling floors and in stockrooms. It involves repeatedly handling cartons, merchandise, and fixtures, as well as standing, walking, kneeling, and squatting throughout the workday. Hallmark provides paid training through hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Starting pay is $16–$17 per hour, depending on skills and experience; eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care.
