About The Position

Hallmark Merchandisers work independently in assigned retail stores, serving as the face of Hallmark and collaborating with local store teams to optimize product placement and inventory. The role involves servicing Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores. Merchandisers are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at their assigned stores and may occasionally work with other companies’ products in those stores. The position is part-time, with a variable weekday schedule averaging 6–10 hours per week. Work hours may increase around holidays and during seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support. Hallmark provides paid training through hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Part-time employees scheduled for fewer than 30 hours may access voluntary benefits, and eligible employees receive annual pay increases. The role requires regular use of a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks, communication, time reporting, feedback, and surveys. Merchandisers work on sales floors and in back stockrooms and perform physically demanding tasks, including handling products and fixtures. Hallmark describes its culture as welcoming, supportive, and rooted in care and inclusion.
