As a part-time Hallmark Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to maintain and present Hallmark products, build relationships with retailer teams, and represent Hallmark. You work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, collaborating with store teams and, when needed, supporting fellow merchandisers with seasonal resets, installations, and inventory work. You may occasionally work with other companies’ products in stores you service. The role includes day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and department resets. Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark inventory, communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete surveys for required activities. Seasonal demand may mean additional days and extended hours before and after major holidays. Some holiday work may be required on the holiday itself, including weekends. Resets and remodel assignments may involve building or installing fixtures, relocating departments or products, and resetting card sections; assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may occur in evenings or on weekends. The position has a variable schedule during the work week, with weekly hours stated as “X - X” in the posting. Starting pay is $14.50–$16.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Hallmark provides paid hands-on and virtual training. Part-time employees may have access to voluntary benefits; employees scheduled for fewer than 30 hours are specifically described as having access to dental, vision, critical illness, accident, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. This is physically demanding work requiring frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying of cartons, merchandise, and fixtures up to 30 pounds, and occasional handling of up to 50 pounds. The work also involves kneeling, squatting, walking, and standing throughout the workday, and may require climbing stairs and step ladders. Candidates must be at least 18, able to read, write, and understand English, use a digital handheld device, have Wi-Fi and internet access, and have consistent transportation to travel between assigned stores.
