The Hallmark Merchandiser independently services Hallmark departments in retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The role showcases organization and time-management skills, builds retailer relationships, and represents Hallmark in stores. Merchandisers work with store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support other team members with seasonal resets and installations. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. It is physically demanding and involves handling merchandise and fixtures, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device, and traveling between assigned stores. Starting pay is $16.95–$18.95 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training includes live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours per week can access voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care.
