About The Position

As a Hallmark Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase organizational and time-management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support other team members with seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, the role may involve working with other companies’ products in the stores you service. The position provides service in Hallmark departments at grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail stores. The work includes day-to-day restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark product inventory, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks and communication, and maintaining professional interactions with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the complete Hallmark product display at assigned stores. Work volume varies with seasonal demand. Around major holidays, additional workdays and extended hours may be needed; work on certain holidays, including weekends, may be required. You may also help with department installations and resets, including building or installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may take place in the evening or on weekends. The position averages 2–8 hours per week, with a variable weekday schedule and availability needed around major holidays and seasonal changeovers. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms and is physically demanding. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Starting pay is $15–$17 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees may access voluntary benefits, subject to eligibility.
