About The Position

Jacent is hiring a Merchandiser to work in stores in the Cedar Hill and Midlothian, Texas area. Merchandisers place products, build displays, and work with store personnel to support retail merchandising programs. The role involves cultivating relationships with in-store management, executing resets, building displays, merchandising impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks, and implementing plan-o-grams.

The position offers daytime hours and a predictable schedule of 8–10 hours per week. Paid training is provided, and mileage and travel time between stores are paid. Cell phone reimbursement and advancement opportunities are also offered. Eligible new hires who start between October 1 and November 30 receive a $2,950 sign-on bonus payable in four installments.

Requirements

• Be a self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working independently and in a team setting.
• Be comfortable working in changing environments.
• Be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without a reasonable accommodation: standing and walking for 3–8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and crouching, bending, twisting, and performing repetitive hand movements.
• Possess excellent organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with business partners.
• Reside within 20 miles of Cedar Hill, TX 75104 or Midlothian, TX 76065.
