About The Position

Jacent is hiring a Merchandiser to work in stores within 20 miles of Garland, Texas. Merchandisers place impulse products, build displays, execute merchandising resets, and work with store personnel in their local communities. The role offers 6–10 hours per week, daytime hours, a predictable schedule, paid training, mileage and travel time paid between stores, cell phone reimbursement, and advancement opportunities. The listed hourly pay is $15–$18. Eligible new hires starting between October 1 and November 30 will receive a $2,950 sign-on bonus, payable in four installments.

Requirements

• Reside within 20 miles of Garland, Texas.
• Be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without a reasonable accommodation: standing and walking for 3–8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and crouching, bending, twisting, and performing repetitive hand movements.
• Have excellent organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with business partners.
• Be a self-starter and quick learner who can work independently and in a team setting.
• Be comfortable working in changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with in-store management.
• Execute merchandising resets.
• Build retail displays.
• Merchandise impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks.
• Implement plan-o-grams.
