About The Position

Jacent is hiring a Merchandiser to work in local retail stores, placing impulse products, building displays, and partnering with store personnel. The role supports Jacent’s merchandising programs across stores and involves both independent work and collaboration with store teams. The position serves the Denton, Texas area and also Crossroads, Texas; applicants should reside within 20 miles of Denton.

The position offers daytime hours and a predictable schedule, with 16–20 hours per week. Pay is $15–$18 per hour. New hires who meet the eligibility terms may receive a $2,950 sign-on bonus in four installments, subject to continued employment, good standing, and the other stated conditions. Paid training, mileage and travel time between stores, cell phone reimbursement, and advancement opportunities are also offered.

Requirements

• Be a self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working independently and in a team setting.
• Be comfortable working in changing environments.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation: standing and walking for 3–8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and crouching, bending, twisting, and performing repetitive hand movements.
• Possess excellent organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with business partners.
• Reside within 20 miles of Denton, Texas; the role also services Crossroads, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with in-store management.
• Execute merchandising resets.
• Build retail displays.
• Merchandise impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks.
• Implement plan-o-grams.
