About The Position

Jacent is seeking a Merchandiser to work in stores in their local community. Merchandisers place products, build displays, and work with store personnel. The role involves cultivating relationships with in-store management, executing merchandising resets, building retail displays, merchandising impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks, and implementing plan-o-grams.

The position offers daytime hours and a predictable schedule, with 24–30 hours per week. Pay is $15–$18 per hour. Paid training, mileage and travel time between stores, cell phone reimbursement, and advancement opportunities are offered. Eligible new hires who start between 10/1 and 11/30 receive a $2,950 sign-on bonus payable in four installments.

The role requires standing and walking for 3–8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and crouching, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movements. Applicants must reside within 20 miles of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and must be able to meet the physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• Be a self-starter and quick learner who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Be comfortable working in changing environments.
