About The Position

Jacent is seeking a Merchandiser to work in stores in their local community. Merchandisers place products, build displays, and work with store personnel to support merchandising programs. The role involves cultivating relationships with in-store management, executing merchandising resets, building retail displays, merchandising impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks, and implementing plan-o-grams. The position offers daytime hours, a predictable schedule, and 8 to 10 hours of work per week. The listed pay is $15 to $18 per hour.

Eligible new hires receive a $2,950 sign-on bonus in four installments: $200 after 30 days, $500 after 90 days, $750 after 180 days, and $1,500 after 365 days of continuous employment. Employees must be actively employed and in good standing when each installment is paid. The offer may be changed or terminated at the company's discretion and does not apply to rehires.

Requirements

• Be a self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working independently and in a team setting.
• Be comfortable in changing environments.
• Be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation, including standing and walking for 3–8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and crouching, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.
• Possess excellent organizational skills.
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with business partners.
• Reside within 20 miles of Alvin, Friendswood, or League City, Texas.
