About The Position

Jacent is seeking a Merchandiser to place products, build displays, and work with store personnel in local retail stores. Merchandisers execute merchandising programs and help create effective impulse-shopping experiences. The role offers daytime hours and a predictable schedule for 16–20 hours per week, with paid training, mileage and travel time paid between stores, cell phone reimbursement, and advancement opportunities. Eligible new hires who start between October 1 and November 30 receive a $2,950 sign-on bonus payable in four installments.

Requirements

• Be a self-starter and quick learner who can work independently and in a team setting.
• Be comfortable working in changing environments.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation: standing and walking for 3–8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and crouching, bending, twisting, and performing repetitive hand movements.
• Possess excellent organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with business partners.
• Reside within 20 miles of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with in-store management.
• Execute merchandising resets.
• Build retail displays.
• Merchandise impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks.
• Implement plan-o-grams.
