About The Position

Jacent is hiring a Merchandiser to place impulse products, build displays, and work with store personnel in local retail stores. Merchandisers work independently and with teams, cultivate relationships with in-store management, execute merchandising resets, build retail displays, merchandise impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks, and implement plan-o-grams.

The role offers daytime hours and a predictable schedule, with 5–10 hours of work per week. Paid training is provided, and mileage and travel time between stores are paid. The position requires residence within 20 miles of Norfolk, Nebraska. Eligible requisitions include a $500 sign-on bonus, payable in two installments after 60 and 120 days of continuous employment.

Requirements

• Reside within 20 miles of Norfolk, Nebraska.
• Be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation: standing and walking for 3–8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and crouching, bending, twisting, and performing repetitive hand movements.
• Possess excellent organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with business partners.
• Be a self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working independently and in a team setting.
• Be comfortable working in changing environments.
