About The Position

Jacent is hiring a Merchandiser to work in stores in the candidate’s local community. Merchandisers place products, build displays, and work with store personnel to support retail merchandising programs. The role includes cultivating relationships with in-store management, executing merchandising resets, building retail displays, merchandising impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks, and implementing plan-o-grams.

The position offers daytime hours, a predictable schedule, paid training, mileage and travel time paid between stores, cell phone reimbursement, and advancement opportunities. The schedule is 10 hours per week. Pay depends on experience. Eligible new hires receive a $500 sign-on bonus in two installments after 60 and 120 days of continuous employment.

Requirements

• Be a self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working independently and in a team setting.
• Be comfortable working in changing environments.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation, including standing and walking for 3–8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and crouching, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.
• Possess excellent organizational skills.
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with business partners.
• Reside within 20 miles of Webster City, Iowa 50595.
