About The Position

Jacent merchandisers work in retail stores in their local communities, placing products, building displays, and working with store personnel. The role supports Jacent’s cross-merchandising and impulse-product programs, helping retailers create shopping experiences and increase sales. This position is listed as 10 hours per week and offers daytime hours with a predictable schedule. Pay depends on experience. Eligible new hires receive a $500 sign-on bonus, payable in two installments after 60 and 120 days of continuous employment.

Requirements

• Be a self-starter and quick learner who can work independently and in a team setting.
• Be comfortable working in changing environments.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation, including standing and walking for 3–8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and crouching, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.
• Have excellent organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with business partners.
• Reside within 20 miles of Ames/Jefferson, IA 50010.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with in-store management.
• Execute merchandising resets.
• Build retail displays.
• Merchandise impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks.
• Implement plan-o-grams.
