About The Position

Jacent is hiring a Merchandiser to work in stores in the Chariton/Osceola, Iowa area. Merchandisers place products, build displays, and work with store personnel in their local communities. The position involves building relationships with in-store management, executing merchandising resets, creating retail displays, merchandising impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks, and implementing plan-o-grams.

The role offers daytime hours and a predictable schedule, with 5–10 hours of work per week. Paid training is provided, and mileage and travel time between stores are paid. Cell phone reimbursement and advancement opportunities are also offered. Pay depends on experience. Eligible new hires receive a $500 sign-on bonus, paid in two installments after 60 and 120 days of continuous employment.

Requirements

• Be a self-starter and quick learner who can work independently and in a team setting.
• Be comfortable working in changing environments.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation: standing and walking for 3–8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and crouching, bending, twisting, and performing repetitive hand movements.
• Possess excellent organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with business partners.
• Reside within 20 miles of Chariton/Osceola, Iowa.
