About The Position

Jacent is seeking a Merchandiser to place impulse products, build displays, and work with store personnel in local retail stores. Merchandisers work independently and with teams, cultivating relationships with in-store management and helping retailers deliver effective merchandising programs. The role offers daytime hours and a predictable schedule, with 10–15 hours per week. Pay depends on experience. Eligible new hires receive a $500 sign-on bonus, paid in two installments after 60 and 120 days of continuous employment.

Requirements

• Reside within 20 miles of Cedar Falls, IA 50613.
• Be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation: standing and walking for 3–8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and crouching, bending, twisting, and performing repetitive hand movements.
• Have excellent organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with business partners.
• Be comfortable working in changing environments.
• Be a self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working independently and in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with in-store management.
• Execute merchandising resets.
• Build retail displays.
• Merchandise impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks.
• Implement plan-o-grams.
