About The Position

The Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, maintain inventory, optimize product placement, and build relationships with retailer teams. The role includes day-to-day service of Hallmark departments, seasonal holiday support, and occasional department resets, installations, and fixture work. Merchandisers use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks, communication, time reporting, feedback, and surveys. The position has a variable part-time schedule averaging 10–13 hours per week, with additional hours and availability potentially needed around holidays and seasonal changeovers. Work takes place on retail selling floors and in stockrooms and requires frequent physical activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Be able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Be available for a variable schedule during the work week, with availability around major holidays and seasonal changeovers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside Hallmark departments at assigned retail stores.
• Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores and optimize product placement in collaboration with store teams.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks, communication with a supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing required surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Provide additional support around holidays, including extended hours and, on occasion, work on the holiday itself.
• Support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory activities.
• Help teams build and install Hallmark fixtures, relocate card departments and products, and reset card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories as needed.
