About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you will independently service Hallmark departments in retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. You will represent Hallmark, build relationships with store teams, optimize product placement, and maintain inventory. The work includes routine merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and occasional department resets, installations, and assistance to other merchandisers. The position has a variable schedule during the work week and averages 10–13 hours per week. Pay is $14.00–$16.00 per hour depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Availability before and after major holidays is required, including possible weekends; additional days and extended hours may be needed around holidays, and work on certain holidays may be required. Remodel and reset work may include evenings or weekends.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Able to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday; may need to climb stairs and step ladders.
• Able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Must have access to Wi-Fi and the internet.
• Must have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Must be available the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Must be available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
• Must be able to work a variable schedule averaging 10–13 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside assigned Hallmark departments.
• Maintain responsibility for the complete Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily work, communication with a supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing surveys for merchandising activities.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Support seasonal holiday merchandising, which may involve additional workdays and extended hours.
• Help install Hallmark fixtures, relocate card departments and products, and reset card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories as needed.
• Be available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory activities.
