About The Position

Hallmark is hiring a part-time Merchandiser in Wauchula, Florida. The role works independently in assigned retail stores, maintaining Hallmark product displays and inventory, building positive relationships with store teams, and supporting seasonal resets and installations. Merchandisers may occasionally work with other companies’ products in the stores they service.

The position averages 6–9 hours per week on a variable schedule during the work week. The work includes routine merchandising, additional hours and days around major holidays, and occasional installations or department resets, which may take place in the evenings or on weekends. Pay starts at $15.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training includes live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Be able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside Hallmark departments at assigned retail stores.
• Maintain responsibility for the Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily work, supervisor communication, time reporting, feedback, surveys, and merchandising activities.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Provide additional service around seasonal holidays, including extended hours and days when needed.
• Support installations and department resets, including building or installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories as needed.
