As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to present Hallmark products, maintain inventory, build relationships with store teams, and represent Hallmark. You may also collaborate with local store teams and fellow merchandisers on seasonal resets, installations, and other support. Work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms, and may occasionally involve products from other companies carried in serviced stores. The role involves day-to-day restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products using a Hallmark-provided mobile device. The device is also used for work communication, time reporting, feedback, surveys, and merchandising activity reporting. You are responsible for the Hallmark product display at assigned stores and are expected to interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers. Hallmark's seasonal operations require additional days and extended hours around major holidays. Work may include holiday shifts, evenings, or weekends, and assignments may include building or installing fixtures, moving card departments or products, and resetting card sections. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance. The position offers a variable work-week schedule averaging 9–13 hours per week. Starting pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Hallmark provides paid hands-on and virtual training, and eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Employees working fewer than 30 hours per week have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care.
