As a part-time Merchandiser, you will work independently in assigned retail stores to represent Hallmark, maintain and organize product displays, monitor inventory, and build relationships with store teams. You will use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks and communication, and may occasionally work with products from other companies in the stores you service. The position averages 12–15 hours per week on a variable schedule during the work week. Availability before and after major holidays, including some weekends, is required, along with availability for seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support. The role includes day-to-day restocking and organization, additional holiday support that can involve extra days or extended hours, and occasional department resets and installations. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may require evening or weekend work. Merchandisers may also support colleagues in nearby territories as needed. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms and is physically demanding. Employees must frequently handle cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures weighing up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, as well as kneel, squat, walk, stand, and potentially climb stairs and step ladders. Starting pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits.
