About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you independently service Hallmark departments in retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. You organize and restock products, monitor inventory, maintain the complete Hallmark product display at assigned stores, and work with store teams to optimize product placement. The role uses a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily merchandising, communication, time reporting, feedback, and surveys. Courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is important. You may occasionally support other products from other companies in the stores you service. The position includes additional work around seasonal demand and holidays, including extra days and extended hours. You may support seasonal resets, installations, fixture builds, card-department relocations, and section resets, sometimes on evenings or weekends. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance. Merchandisers may also support other team members in their territories. The job involves working on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. It is physically demanding and requires frequent movement and handling of merchandise and fixtures. Pay starts at $15.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Part-time employees with schedules under 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits; eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
