About The Position

The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to showcase organizational and time-management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. The role involves collaborating with store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, while supporting fellow merchandisers with seasonal resets and installations when needed. The position may occasionally involve working with other companies’ products in serviced stores. Merchandisers service Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail stores. The work includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products, maintaining the entire Hallmark display at assigned stores, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks and communication, and interacting professionally with store employees, management, and customers. Seasonal demand brings additional workdays and extended hours around major holidays. Team assignments may include building or installing fixtures, relocating departments and products, and resetting card sections. The role is part-time, with a variable work-week schedule averaging 7–11 hours per week.
