About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you will work independently in assigned retail stores to represent Hallmark, maintain and organize Hallmark product displays, monitor inventory, and build relationships with retailer teams. You will use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks and communication, and may support seasonal resets, installations, and other team members. The position involves work in store selling floors and back stockrooms, with additional work and extended hours around holidays and season changes.

The position averages 6–9 hours per week on a variable schedule during the work week. Availability before and after major holidays, including some weekends, is required. The starting pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Be able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Be available during the work week on a variable schedule, including before and after major holidays; availability may include weekends.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products and inventory in assigned retail stores, including areas inside and outside the Hallmark department.
• Maintain responsibility for the Hallmark product display at assigned stores and optimize product placement.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising activities, communication with a supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing required surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Provide additional holiday support, which may involve extra workdays, extended hours, and work on certain holidays or weekends.
• Support department installations and resets, including building and installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support fellow merchandisers in their territories as needed.
• Be available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
