As a part-time Hallmark Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase organization and time-management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may assist fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations. You may occasionally work with products from other companies in the stores you service. The position averages 7–10 hours per week, with a variable schedule during the work week. Seasonal demand may require additional days and extended hours around major holidays, and some holiday or remodel work may take place on weekends or evenings. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. The role involves servicing Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores. You restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products, maintain the entire Hallmark display at assigned stores, and use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily work, communication, time reporting, feedback, surveys, and merchandising activities. You may also help build or install fixtures, relocate card departments and products, and reset card sections. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance. This is physically demanding work on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. It requires frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying, as well as kneeling, squatting, walking, and standing; climbing stairs and step ladders may also be required. Consistent transportation to and between assigned stores is necessary.
