About The Position

The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to present Hallmark products, maintain inventory, and build relationships with store teams. The role involves servicing Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass-market stores, and may occasionally include work with other companies’ products in the stores served. The work has three main components: day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and department resets. Merchandisers use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks and communication, and may assist other merchandisers in their territories. The position is part-time, averages 12–15 hours per week, and has a variable schedule during the work week. Starting pay is $13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. The position is physically demanding and involves working on sales floors and in back stockrooms. It requires frequent movement and handling of products and fixtures, with additional availability needed around holidays and seasonal changeovers.
