The Hallmark Merchandiser independently services the Hallmark department in assigned retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The role focuses on maintaining Hallmark product displays and inventory, optimizing product placement in collaboration with store teams, and providing professional service to store employees, management, and customers. Merchandisers use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks, time reporting, communication, feedback, and surveys. The position also supports seasonal resets, installations, and other team members as needed. This is a part-time position averaging 12–16 hours per week, with a variable schedule during the work week. Work may increase around holidays and during seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support. Availability before and after major holidays is required, and work on certain holidays, weekends, evenings, or remodel assignments may be required. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms and is physically demanding. Employees must regularly move merchandise and fixtures and may need to kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and use step ladders. Starting pay is $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Hallmark provides paid hands-on and virtual training, and eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care.
