About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you will independently service the Hallmark department in retail stores, showcasing organizational and time-management skills and building retailer relationships. You will work with store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may assist team members with seasonal resets and installations. On occasion, you may work with other companies’ products in the stores you service.

The role includes day-to-day merchandising, holiday support, department resets, and collaboration with Hallmark’s field organization. Using a Hallmark-provided mobile device, you will restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products and displays, communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Seasonal periods may require additional days and extended hours, and some holidays or department reset assignments may involve weekend or evening work.

This is a physically demanding position involving work on sales floors and in back stockrooms. The schedule is variable during the work week and averages 7–10 hours per week. Starting pay is $18.47–$20.47 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees scheduled fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory and displays in assigned retail stores.
• Take responsibility for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks, communication with a supervisor, time reporting, feedback, and required surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Support seasonal demand before and after major holidays, including additional days and extended hours as needed.
• Assist with installations, building and installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories as needed.
• Collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels.
