Hallmark Cards•Sacramento, CA
•$16 - $18•Onsite

About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you will independently service Hallmark departments in retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. You will represent Hallmark, build relationships with store teams, optimize product placement, maintain inventory, and support fellow merchandisers with seasonal resets and installations. The position may occasionally involve working with other companies’ products in the stores you service. The role includes day-to-day restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work activities and communication, and maintaining the entire Hallmark display at assigned stores. Seasonal demand may bring additional workdays and longer hours around major holidays. You may also help install fixtures, relocate products or card departments, and reset card sections. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms, and requires frequent physical activity. This is a part-time position with a variable weekday schedule averaging 10–15 hours per week. Starting pay is $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care.
