About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you independently service the Hallmark department in assigned retail stores, using organization and time-management skills and building relationships with store teams. You are responsible for the Hallmark product displays at your assigned stores, maintaining and replenishing inventory, optimizing product placement, and representing Hallmark professionally. You will use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks and communication. The role also includes seasonal holiday support, department resets and installations, and helping other merchandisers when needed.

The schedule varies during the work week and averages 13–16 hours weekly. The position requires availability around major holidays, including some weekends, and availability for seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support. Starting pay is $15–$17 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided, and eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours may access voluntary benefits.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Be able to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Be able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Be available during the week before and after major holidays, potentially including weekends.
• Be available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Service the Hallmark department in assigned retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail stores.
• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside the Hallmark department.
• Maintain responsibility for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores and help optimize product placement.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily work, communication with a supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing surveys for required merchandising activities.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Provide additional holiday support, which may involve additional workdays and extended hours.
• Participate in installations and department resets, including building or installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories as needed.
