About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you will work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase organizational and time-management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. You may occasionally work with other companies’ products in the stores you service.

The work takes place in Hallmark departments at grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores. The role includes day-to-day restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark inventory; supporting seasonal demand around major holidays; and participating in department resets, fixture installations, and product relocations. Hallmark provides a mobile device for work and communication. The schedule varies during the work week and averages 5–10 hours per week. Additional days and extended hours may be needed around holidays, season changeovers, installations, and inventory support.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Be able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products weighing up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department at assigned retail stores.
• Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Collaborate professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily work, communication with a supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and answering surveys for required merchandising activities.
• Support seasonal demand before and after major holidays, including additional workdays and extended hours as needed.
• Participate in installations and department resets, including building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories as needed.
