About The Position

The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, maintain inventory, optimize product placement, and build relationships with store teams. The role serves as the face of Hallmark and may include supporting other team members with seasonal resets and installations. Merchandisers may occasionally work with products from other companies in the stores they service. This part-time position has a variable schedule during the work week and averages 13–20 hours per week. The starting pay rate is $11.00–$13.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Training is paid and provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Part-time employees may have access to voluntary benefits, and eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Work includes day-to-day service in the Hallmark departments of grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores; additional hours and days around seasonal holidays; and occasional department resets, installations, and remodel assignments. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms and is physically demanding.
