About The Position

Jacent is seeking a Merchandiser to work in stores in the Norfolk, Nebraska area. Merchandisers place products, build displays, and work with store personnel in their local communities. The role offers daytime hours and a predictable schedule, with 5–10 hours of work per week. Pay depends on experience. Paid training, mileage and travel time between stores, cell phone reimbursement, and advancement opportunities are offered. Eligible new hires receive a $500 sign-on bonus, payable in two installments after 60 and 120 days of continuous employment.

Requirements

• Be a self-starter and quick learner who can work independently and in a team setting.
• Be comfortable working in changing environments.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation: standing and walking for 3–8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and crouching, bending, twisting, and performing repetitive hand movements.
• Possess excellent organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with business partners.
• Reside within 20 miles of Norfolk, Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with in-store management.
• Execute merchandising resets.
• Build retail displays.
• Merchandise impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks.
• Implement plan-o-grams.
