About The Position

As a Hallmark Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase organization and time-management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You work with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations. On occasion, you may work with other companies’ products in the stores you service.

The work takes place in the Hallmark departments of retail locations such as grocery, drug, department, and mass-market stores. The role has three main components: day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and department resets. You are responsible for the Hallmark product display at your assigned stores and use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks and communications. Seasonal demand may require additional days and extended hours, and reset assignments may involve evenings or weekends. This part-time position has a variable work-week schedule and averages 10–12 hours per week.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Be able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Be available during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Be available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory in and outside Hallmark departments at assigned retail stores.
• Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores and collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement and inventory levels.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device to complete daily work, communicate with a supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer surveys related to required merchandising activities.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Support seasonal holiday demand with additional workdays and extended hours; some assignments may require working on the holiday itself, including weekends.
• Participate in department resets and installations, including building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories when needed.
• Travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
