About The Position

Included Health is seeking a fully remote Mental Health Therapist licensed in Pennsylvania to provide virtual behavioral health care. The clinician delivers individual therapy sessions and focuses on patient care and documentation, with support from the Clinical Operations team for scheduling, billing, credentialing, onboarding, and patient verification. The position is a 1099 independent contractor role, with guidance from a Behavioral Health Supervisor and access to a supportive clinical team. Clinicians can set their own hours and are paid $65.61 per visit hour; no-shows and late cancellations are covered at the full rate.

Requirements

• Ability to practice independently without ongoing clinical supervision.
• Experience with technology and understanding of digital tools and platforms.
• Active, unrestricted clinical license in Pennsylvania matching the clinician’s discipline.
• For LCSW: Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program and at least 2 years of unsupervised, post-licensure psychotherapy treatment experience.
• For LPC/LMHC: Master’s degree in Counseling from a CACREP-accredited program and at least 3 years of unsupervised, post-licensure experience.
• For LMFT: Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from a COAMFTE-accredited program and at least 3 years of unsupervised, post-licensure experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual remote counseling and psychotherapy.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and compile patient medical data, including health history and mental status examination findings.
• Determine and implement behavioral health treatment plans.
• Evaluate results of mental health assessments and provide evidence-based therapeutic support to patients.
• Conduct monthly chart reviews as assigned as part of the peer review quality-assurance process.
• Keep current with continuing education and evidence-based psychosocial interventions.
