About The Position

Mindify Wellness and Care is hiring a mental health professional to provide behavioral health services to clients at a partner adult day care center in Cape May, New Jersey, with additional opportunities to provide telehealth services. An established patient caseload and ongoing referrals are available. Recent graduates and early-career clinicians are welcome. Onsite services are generally needed one to three days per week, typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Telehealth sessions may be scheduled on onsite days or separate days, with scheduling based on provider availability and patient needs. Applicants must be able to provide onsite services in Cape May and are encouraged to commit to at least one onsite day per week.

Compensation is $35–$45 per completed clinical session and depends on qualifications, licensure, credentials, and clinical experience. Payment is for completed sessions; cancellations and no-shows are not compensated. The position is part-time and structured as a 1099 independent contractor role. Potential W-2 employment arrangements may be discussed during the interview process.

Mindify provides administrative support with scheduling, referrals, and patient coordination; clinical supervision when required for eligible clinicians; malpractice coverage; and collaboration with psychiatric providers and other behavioral health professionals. Clinical responsibilities are assigned according to the provider’s qualifications, authorized scope of practice, and applicable supervision requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Ability to provide onsite services at the partner adult day care center in Cape May, New Jersey.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical documentation skills.
• Clinical responsibilities must be performed within the provider’s qualifications, authorized scope of practice, and applicable supervision requirements.

Nice To Haves

• New Jersey credentials such as LSW, LAC, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT are encouraged.
• Experience working with adults, older adults, or community-based behavioral health populations is preferred but not required.
• Recent graduates and early-career professionals are welcome.
• Consistent availability for at least one onsite day per week is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite behavioral health services to clients at the partner adult day care center.
• Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual and/or group therapy within the clinician’s authorized scope of practice.
• Offer telehealth services as scheduled and appropriate.
• Use evidence-based, trauma-informed treatment approaches.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with psychiatric providers and other members of the treatment team.
• Support clients in improving emotional well-being, developing coping skills, and achieving treatment goals.
