Full-Time Mental Health Technician AM- $3,000 Sign on Bonus
About The Position
Prairie St. John's is hiring a full-time Mental Health Technician for its expanding team at a 132-bed behavioral health facility. Mental Health Technicians work directly with patients to provide support and hope, offering a foundation for those interested in developing careers in nursing, therapy, social work, or substance use disorders. The role is a 40-hour-per-week position with a repeating two-week schedule. The AM shift runs from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Overtime and opportunities to cover other shifts are available for interested employees. The position offers full benefits and a $3,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employees. Prairie St. John's provides behavioral health and substance use services for children, adolescents, and adults, including inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, and intensive outpatient services. The facility is accredited by The Joint Commission and serves more than 4,000 patients annually.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in a health care setting or group setting such as day care, school, group homes, or residential facilities.
