About The Position
R&R Auto Group is hiring experienced Automotive Service Technicians for a busy dealership. The family-owned dealership emphasizes employee respect, ongoing training, advancement from within, and rewards for effort and results through bonus and commission programs. Technicians work in an air-conditioned, clean and professional shop equipped with current technology and equipment. The position includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Experienced automotive service technician with a strong automotive background.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Willingness to submit to a drug screen and background check.
- Clean and valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certifications are ideal.
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional service needs so customers can be informed.
- Provide estimates of the time needed for additional repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
