About The Position

Hiller is hiring a Plumbing Service Technician to provide residential plumbing services. The role diagnoses and repairs plumbing issues, installs plumbing systems and equipment, performs maintenance and inspections, and explains proposed work and cost estimates to customers. The technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle and may perform other duties as assigned. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is advertised; eligibility requires 3–5 years of verifiable residential plumbing service experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and approval to drive by the company's insurance carrier.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and correcting diverse plumbing service issues.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• 3–5 years of verifiable residential plumbing service experience to qualify for the sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, water heaters, fixtures, and drainage systems.
• Install plumbing systems, fixtures, appliances, and water heaters in accordance with local codes and company standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance and system inspections to identify potential problems and recommend solutions.
• Explain proposed work and provide cost estimates to customers before beginning work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
