About The Position

Geode Health is recruiting a Psychiatric Physician Assistant or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient psychiatric care in the greater Dallas–Fort Worth market. The role may include conducting initial mental health evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, managing medications, and providing supportive psychotherapy as clinically appropriate to patient needs. Providers use evidence-based, measurement-based care to track patient outcomes and inform care plans. The APP works with a Psychiatrist and Mental Health Therapist as part of an integrated care team, coordinating medication management and psychotherapy. The position offers a hybrid schedule; most providers work three days onsite and two days providing telehealth, with a possible four-day work week. More in-person work may be expected initially while building a patient caseload. There are no nights, weekends, or on-call duties, and after-hours urgent support is available.
