About The Position

Geode Health is recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider (Psychiatric PA or PMHNP) in the greater Omaha market to provide outpatient psychiatric care. Services may include initial mental health evaluations, individualized treatment planning, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy as clinically appropriate to each patient’s needs.

Providers use evidence-based, measurement-based care to track patient outcomes and inform care plans. The role is part of an integrated team, coordinating medication management and psychotherapy with a Psychiatrist and Mental Health Therapist. Geode provides support with building a patient caseload, as well as administrative, marketing, and operational support.

The position offers a hybrid schedule; most providers work three days onsite and two days via telehealth, with a possible four-day work week. More in-person work may be expected initially while building a caseload. There are no nights, weekends, or on-call duties; after-hours urgent support is provided.

Requirements

• Active Psychiatric PA or PMHNP license in Nebraska.
• Active DEA license.
• Active CDS.
• Passion for high-quality care.
• Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills.
• Proficiency using an EMR system and maintaining accurate, up-to-date electronic health records.
• Desire and ability to see a general spectrum of mental health conditions.

Nice To Haves

• More than one year of professional work experience in an Advanced Practice Provider role.
• Experience in an outpatient work setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric healthcare services, including initial mental health evaluations as appropriate.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medication management and supportive psychotherapy as clinically appropriate to patient needs.
