About The Position

Geode Health is recruiting a Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide outpatient mental health services in the greater Dallas–Fort Worth market. The provider may conduct initial mental health evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, manage medications, and provide supportive psychotherapy as clinically appropriate to each patient’s needs. Providers use evidence-based, measurement-based care, tracking patient outcomes with data to inform care plans. The role is part of an integrated team in which the APP partners with a psychiatrist and mental health therapist to coordinate medication management and psychotherapy. Geode provides support with building the provider’s caseload, as well as administrative, marketing, and operational assistance. The position offers a hybrid schedule. Most providers work three days per week onsite and two days per week via telehealth; a four-day work week is also possible. More onsite time may be expected initially while the provider builds a caseload. There are no nights, weekends, or on-call duties; after-hours urgent support is available.
