About The Position

Geode Health is recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider (Psychiatric PA or PMHNP) to provide outpatient psychiatric care in the greater Austin market. The role may include conducting initial mental health evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy, as clinically appropriate to each patient’s needs. Providers use evidence-based, measurement-based care to track patient outcomes and inform care plans. They work as part of an integrated team with a Psychiatrist and Mental Health Therapist to coordinate medication management and psychotherapy. Geode provides support to help providers build their caseloads, along with administrative, marketing, and operational support. The position offers a hybrid schedule. Most providers work three days per week onsite and two days per week providing telehealth, with a possible four-day work week. More in-person work may be expected initially while building a patient caseload. There are no nights, weekends, or on-call duties; after-hours urgent support is provided.
